I've been exploring flower arranging recently. These were from the local Prahran Markets. The ripples in the Renaissance Leaves are so beautiful with the elegant twirl of the Calla Lily petals. 

When life gives you lemons (and you happen to have some sugar and butter and can google a few easy lemon curd recipes that you subsequently ignore and can pop down to the shops for a few cheat pastry cases) - make some lemon tarts!

I was asked to put together a little present pack for a guest speaker at an event. I happily went on a little shopping spree - and stayed dutifully within budget!

This is my version of a personalised mass seasonal greeting. There's something satisfying about spreading out a huge roll of paper across the dining table and drawing big swirls with the whole arm. 

A strange Hans Christian Andersen tale about abduction, arranged marriage, unrequited and requited love. I imagine the little heroine was dressed in a petal skirt, somewhat like this.
